There are beautiful walks at the quarry with views of snowdonia & waterfalls. Some of the walks/hikes can be more advanced and are not recommended for small children or elderly. There is also a cafe and the national slate museum to visit.

It's a small castle to visit but kids really enjoy the interactive display next to the gift shop. Cadwaladers cafe nearby has really lovely cakes, coffee, ice creams and other desserts!
