Just about 10 miles the other side of Taos is the Rio Grande gorge bridge. Don’t miss an opportunity to see this wonderful site. There is a Rest Area located on one side for you to park and walk around to observe the bridge.

Great Peruvian food. Nice views over the mountains to boot. Be prepared to spend a little bit, but really a wonderful place to visit.

If you like hamburgers and a local beer, this would be a place for you to visit. Not far from the condo and on the enchanted circle. You may want to arrive a few minutes early as many locals and travelers eat there alike.

Our family loves to eat pizza from the pizza stop. Be prepared to pay a little bit more, but really wonderful pizza to enjoy after a hard day of hiking or skiing.

Neighborhoods
Black lake is located on the south end of Angelfire. It is a beautiful area and in the evenings large elk herds can often be seen grazing the open fields.

The summertime features wonderful opportunities to hike the green areas which can be found on the Angel Fire resort maps. Simply walk outside of the condo down Angelfire Road and look for a trail the branches off from the roadway. From there enjoy your journey and go look at elk, mule deer, mallards, and Canadian geese among other wildlife. Additionally downhill mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding or other aventures can be found as well.
The winter time of course features well-known downhill skiing. Many are unaware though of other opportunities including icefishing on Eagle nest lake, cross country skiing at the golf course clubhouse, or enjoying a sleigh ride in the mountains from local outfitters.
