Voted the best restuarant in the trip-city area 2020. Though it is 16 miles north of Peaceful in Prescott it is well worth the drive to enjoy a delicatable meal and wonderful service. Every time I have a visitor I have to share this local gem with them. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I love Papa's Italian Restaurant! Most evenings Mama will come by your table to greet you and bring sample bowl of minestrone to whet your appetite. Every meal I have had there has been wonderful and I can't wait to go back.

City/town information
A day trip to Jerome is so much fun! The beautiful drive through the Mingus mountains opens up to a spectacular view of the Verde Valley to an old mining town abuzz with interesting shops, really good restaurants and Arizona history. You may even hear about haunted houses or eat at the Haunted Hamburger. My favorite restaurant is Grapes because they always have great daily specials of healthy fresh food.

Courthouse Square has fun activities going on almost every weekend and many week day evenings. From free summer concerts and art/food festivals to the lighting of the square to kick of the Christmas season you will want to venture there several times during your time here.

For a small town you might not expect a world class planetarium but we have access to one at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. An unexpected treasure we hope you will take in.

This memorial site honors 19 local firefighters who lost their lives when trying to contain a wildfire from taking out the close by town of Yarnell. If you choose to take the hike to the memorial site be sure to wear good shoes, use sunscreen and carry plenty of water. When visiting Prescott at the end of June you will see '19' next to the 'P' on the mountain to honor these fallen heroes that were our friends and family.
