This little cafe style eatery serves Southern Indian food which is a far cry from the usual Indian food you get in Wycombe. Food is Halal and also great also for vegetarians/vegans. 15-20 minute walk but they also deliver.
Try their Masala Dosa together with the best Mango Lassi, the best I’ve ever had . Really friendly people too.

THE DRAWING ROOM: Francis Yard, East St, Chesham, HP5 1DG. Tel: 01494 791691
A really unusual place and a really surprising find, tucked away in a courtyard in Chesham. If you are in a group then then you can book the Moroccan tent (it’s a small room upstairs that is decked out like a Moroccan tent and has low seats/cushions with a small low central table.). The Wapas (World tapas) are amazing and really reasonable priced. Both times I’ve eaten there we’ve paid around £8-£10 per head including shared desserts. They are licensed but it’s best to take your own wine and pay ‘corkage’
They also have live music events and Spanish evenings (conversation and a bit of teaching with a qualified teacher and a native Spaniard) for £6 on a Wednesday! Same thing in Italian on a Thursday!

A real gem of a café. Great scandi food, perfect for meeting up with friends. Probably 30 min drive from High Wycombe, but definitely worth it!

Arts & Culture
Hughenden Manor, a Victorian mansion that was the country home of the Victorian Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, who lived here from 1848 to 1881. It is now owned by the National Trust and is fully open to the public. There is a National Trust shop and nice café.
Just down the hill from the manor is the historic Church house which offers tea and delicious home-made cakes/cream teas. Beginning again after Easter on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday afternoons. It is run solely by volunteers who will serve you in a relaxed atmosphere. A proportion of the profits are donated to various charities. They are a Fairtrade Church and working to increase their use of Fair-traded products, using, where possible, small, local suppliers.
Rumour has it that on occasions in winter they serve hot soup!
Benjamin Disraeli is buried in the Church.
