Some of LA’s best experiences are clustered in a walkable area downtown beginning at Disney Concert Hall, the Frank Gehry designed wonder. Right next door are two art museums, MOCA and The Broad (free admission!). The famous funicular, Angel’s Flight, runs nearby at California Plaza, and descends to the entrance of Grand Central Market— LA’s original food court. You can also go from the Disney Hall to the adjacent Music Center, where LA’s three leading theaters sit on a glorious hilltop courtyard. Descend into Grand Park, Little Tokyo, Olvera Street, Phillipe’s French Dip, Union Station.
