Hunting Island State Park Beach is approximately a 15 minute drive from Wallace Rd. An adventurous road getting to the beach once you go through the gates, awaits you - it's like going through the jungle. The beach is lovely with rock pools everywhere and turtle nests and then there is the light house. I have an All Park Passport for your use which includes the following: unlimited entry to all 47 South Carolina state parks for everyone in the vehicle. Right on the river front with outside seating. Great food. Port Royal is an historic town and well worth the visit.
