A waterfall about 20 minutes from the house. A little hike to get there but pretty easy. I recommend checking this out after the Cueva Ventana tour because they are nearby. Your shoes will get wet, water shoes would be best.

Little museum for the lighthouse in Arecibo. Don’t really recommend paying and going inside unless you have young children. There’s not too much to see, but they have a little water park area for the kids and some cool history. However The lighthouse is beautiful and can be seen from the beach posa del obispo.

This horseback riding is awesome, I really recommend it if you’re looking for an experience of a lifetime. All along the beaches of Aguadilla on beautiful horses. Keep in mind the horses gallop at a pretty fast pace, but that makes it all the more fun. Make reservations ASAP because they book up. I recommend going on the early ride so you can have lunch in Jobos beach near by.

Weekends in El Pueblo de Arecibo
El Pueblo de Arecibo has a lot of great history and art. If you’re looking to go out and hang in the town, the weekends starting in Thursdays are great. A lot of places have live music and great energy all around. Good place to start is La Puntilla and just hop around. It’s a great way to give back and help the local economy of Arecibo and check out the local scene.

Miss the crowds
The earlier, the better. Beaches tend to get crowded during the weekends and even more so after 1 pm. If you can get there earlier in the morning, you have a higher chance of having the beach to yourselves.
