There is so much to explore in the Yarra Valley. There are so many quality wineries you'd need days to explore them all.
The amazing Healesville Sanctuary provides a wonderful chance to see native Australian animals up close.
Alongside the awarded Yarra Valley Chocolateries, just outside Yarra Glen, is our own personal favourite - Alowyn Gardens - or "The Secret Garden" as we know it in our family. The kids love exploring the different sections. And the great cafe there provides a welcome rest afterwards.

Warrandyte - cool off on a hot day in the beautiful Yarra River. Enjoy a walk, bike ride or browse through the tourist shops alongside the river. Finish off with a refreshing drink in the newly refurbished, family-friendly, Grand Hotel.

Everything you need just at the end of the road - turn left out of the drive and head downhill - left at the end of Flat Rock Rd and first off at the roundabout. 3km
Doctors, dentists, train station to city, post office, greengrocer, butcher, baker, supermarket, newsagent, IGA supermarket, pizza (Henry Hursts), fish and chips, restaurants & cafes, bottle-shop, chemist. All set in a historic location with super friendly folk.
