Gas Station
There is no gas station in Playa Junquillal. The closest gas station is just outside of Tamarindo or in Santa cruz 30km away. We advise not letting your tank get below 1/4 tank.

Flashlights
We advise having one flashlight or headlamp per guest. Costa Rica does have blackouts on occasion and it can get very dark in our area.
Flashlights that have red lights on them are required for viewing nesting turtle in front of Punta Paraiso at night.
At no time should you try to touch/disturb turtles or their nests!!

Sunscreen/Bug Spray
We advise bringing plenty of sunscreen and bug spray, as it is a lot more expensive in Costa Rica.

Exchanging money
Do not exchange money at the airport. The exchange rate is not good and most places will accept dollars. Change will be given in colones.
There are local banks to exchange money in Tamarindo and Santa Cruz.
