For something different, The Sri Venkateswara Temple is a very interesting place to visit particularly on the weekend as the canteen serves very authentic Indian vegetarian food. It gets quite busy. Remember to take off your shoes if you enter the temple.

This and amazing walk/climb. Quite challenging so only for the able and reasonably fit person. Its a 30+ mins walk straight up the escarpment, with the final section being fixed ladders. There is a lookout at the top and cafe. The walk starts from Foothills Road Austimeer. Bring some water!
