Mexican food staple in San Diego. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a big outdoor patio during covid, but expect a wait on weekends.

Amazing beer, amazing fresh and organic food (I actually biked with them to the farm they buy the food from), and amazing owners. This is a top 3 favorite of mine for both food and drink in SD. Check out their other spots too (Tiger!Tiger! and Panama 66 in Balboa Park).

SD's most sought after ice cream/gelato. Don't be fooled by the name, it's just part of the charm. Wonderful people working there too.

Can be a little hard to find because it's inside Balboa Park, but just park and ask someone to point you that way and you'll find it. Same guys behind Blind Lady Alehouse near the home, but outside and in the beautiful park. They normally have some amazing live music there as well.

1 of the 2 best pizzas in SD (the other being Blind Lady Alehouse). Lovely outdoor patio that makes for a more romantic/date setting in addition to just a great meal.

Great for cocktails. Try the game there where you swing the ring onto the nail. You'll succeed eventually, maybe :)
