WHITSAND BAY is a long sandy beach with many cliff paths going down to the sea, some easy and some more challenging. It’s often sunny here when it’s cloudy inland.
THE VIEW restaurant is my favourite eating place. The set lunch is 3 courses for £22.50. Highly recommended if you are a foody.

ROCKY VALLEY
Magical walk down to the sea which is awe inspiring when the waves are up. A circular walk along to Bossiney Beach is recommended. Bossiney beach is good for a swim and when the tide is right a good place to forage for mussels

BODMIN MOOR.
A good tip is to park up at village called Minions and walk to The Hurlers ancient stone circles then on to The Cheesering, the beautiful weatherworn granite core of a prehistoric volcano.
If you like ancient things, Trethevy Quoit is nearby
