ne of the biggest attractions to this area of Donegal is Glenveagh National Park, managed by the National Parks and wildlife Service of the Department of Culture and Heritage. This 16000 hectares of mountain, bogs, lakes and woods is cut in two by the spectacular valley of Glenveagh which gives the park its name. Situated within the grounds is Glenveagh Castle surrounded by beautiful gardens, nature trails, a cafe and a guided castle tour ( I would recommend!).
