BEST Caverns in my opinion (I grew up in Grottoes). Also offering hiking, biking, fishing, picnicing, mini-golf, and a pool (assuming Covid restrictions are lifted). If you are spelunker, check to see of their Fountain Cave Adventure Tours are operating. Grand Caverns was discovered in 1804 and opened for tours in 1806, making Grand Caverns the oldest continually operating show cave in the United States. During the Civil War and the “Valley Campaign” the cave was visited by both Confederate and Union soldiers. There are over 200 verified civil war signatures in the cave.
