There's a lot to do in Wells. There is a magnificent cathedral, bishops palace, great parks and frequent events.
Lots of lovely, independent shops, cafes (one of our favourite is the Good Earth) and restaurants.
Markets on a Wednesday and Saturday.
Vicar's Close is also a must see next to the cathedral.
