Legendary snowball shop. Homemade syrups. Unique ice-shaving equipment (invented by the original owner) creates an amazing light cool summer treat. My favorite is the "filled" snowball (ice cream center) with nectar syrup topped with sweetened condensed milk. Heaven. Open Spring thru Fall.

This is a relatively new place in a nicely renovated building. Great spot for a casual brunch. In a bustling area of Magazine Street. Lots of shops, bars, and other restaurants nearby. Good people watching if you seat outside. I like to take out-of-town visitors here for a good selection of local favorites like Eggs Sardou and Biscuits and Gravy. Interesting bar options.
