There is always parking (its free) and you don't need a dog to enjoy this beach. You should check the tide and plan to go when its low, or you'll need to wade in the water to get to the beach. This is a great place to see dolphins (at sunrise and sunset).

You just can't beat a Florida day at the beach. If traffic is good, you can be there in 12 minutes from our house. Go early if you want parking. If the 1st lot is full, keep driving to see if the next one has a spot. Repeat if necessary : ) Pack a cooler...just enjoy. It gets busy at sunset...but it sure is worth it.

Food scene
This really is the landing spot for nearly everyone visiting the area. They'll valet park your car and you can sit on the beach (or rent chairs, sit at their tables, etc) and people watch. Mostly bar food, but it's a convenient place to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset.

Local and generally awesome. Go early on Burger night (Tuesday) as they sell out. We know the owners & they're vegans, so the food trucks usually offer at least one decent veggie/vegan option. Great beer.

Getting special groceries or wanting to sit & eat an amazing meal? This is the place. Parking can be tough, as its very popular. We often go after 8pm. One of SW Florida's most established agriculture families owns this. It's a foodie dream come true!
