Bo Beau is a French-American Bistro owned by San Diego Restaurateurs the Cohn Group. While all of their locations are great, we love local Bo Beau for their cocktails, garden seating, brussel sprouts, burger, and children's attraction - the big yellow bus!

Swami's and La Mesa Bistro are basically the same: owned by the same people and have basically the same menu. It's our breakfast go-to for down and dirty delicious food. The interior is nothing fancy at either location but the food does not disappoint.

We come here for takeout Carnitas almost weekly. It's seriously amazing - comes with tortillas, onion, tomato, cilantro, limes, beans and rice. You make your own tacos and will have leftovers to spare. Yum!

We love walking to Sheldons in the morning for coffee and breakfast (the breakfast burrito and acai bowl w/ PB is our order of choice). They've got great muffins as well. It's a neighborhood favorite for outdoor seating, and during the summer they have live music.
