About 25 minutes away is amazing hiking in the East Bay Regional Parks. There are a string of parks each about 5 minutes away and each with their own amazingly different sights to see. Check out Redwood, Sibley, and Huckleberry that are right near each other or just slightly further are Tilden, Chabot and Joaquin Miller.
