Food Scene
It’s hard to believe, but the taco stand at the gas station at five points, which is three blocks away, is actually very good! Run by some familiar and friendly faces, this humble food truck serves up some excellent Central American food at extremely reasonable prices. They open around 11 o’clock in the morning and often stay open late into the night.
Outstanding spot for supper. 3 blocks away. Reservations are a good idea on busy nights, but often not necessary. Not cheap (entrees are $20-30), but never disappointing. Steaks are very good.

Drinks & Nightlife
This is a speakeasy. It is small and only accommodates a certain number of people. You need to ring the doorbell in the alley, which is very nondescript. If they have space for you they’ll let you in if not you have to wait. Cocktails cost about $15, which is very expensive but I have to say they’re very, very good. I know this description makes it sound pretentious, but it’s really a fun place to spend an hour or so.

This is authentic yesteryear Nashville. One of the Premier places to hear live music in Nashville, this is like stepping into the past. Don’t expect good food and don’t expect a great beer selection. Do you expect the audience to be listening carefully and not on their phones and blabbing. If you’re lucky enough to be here on a Tuesday night we highly recommend you get tickets for Doyle and Debbie
