Live music every hour from up and coming bands and most don't require a cover. Great spot to stop for a bit and have a drink while listening to new music in the Lower East Side.

My favorite museum in NYC, it's an immersive dive into what the Lower East Side was like for every different group of immigrants, and it's incredibly detailed.

This is a lovely walk along an old elevated train that they've converted for pedestrians. Along the way there are food vendors and cute carts.

A gorgeous building, directly next to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical gardens. It's a bit of a trek, but it's off the beaten path for tourists, which is what I think makes it special.
