Best Belgian beer selection in town and great happy hour specials before 6:30. Catch their all-you-can-eat wings on Mondays and vegetarians can sub tofu bites!

It's worth it to go a little out of your way for the best Thai food in the Burgh. I would know - I just got back from a trip to Thailand.

Shopping
The best little shopping street in Pittsburgh with JCrew, Banana Republic, and lots of small independent boutiques mixed in with fun restaurants and rooftop bars. The central area is between Aiken and Negley.

This is Pittsburgh's little slice of Cali with everything from a Trader Joes, to an Anthropologie, to Google's local branch. They often have outdoor events with tons of great food carts too!

Welcome to the Gayborhood! Rainbow crosswalks, cute shops, and great bars make up this small economic center right across the bridge. Pittsburgh's gay community is known for being especially welcoming whether you're gay, straight, or something else entirely.

My favorite walkable sports bar because they have wing night four nights a week! Get the sloppy 'everything but the kitchen sink' wings and watch the game.

Fantastic little Shadyside park with herb gardens, sculpted hedges, green hills, and old stone architecture. Smells great and you might see someone taking wedding photos!

Hipster mecca for films new and old. Grab a beer and watch something noir or something goofy. Row House has lots of great events going - check their website to see what's playing this week.

Essentials
Huge wine selection with lots of descriptive reviews of bottles by staff experts; cooler with ready-to-drink whites; and my favorite place to get whiskey around here.
Silly PA laws say you can't sell beer and wine/liquor in the same store.

Fantastic beer store just a quick walk over the pedestrian bridge from WholeFoods/Starbucks. I'm a Michigan girl and they carry all the Bell's Oberon I need as well as some special Belgians I miss from my Euro travels.
