Beautiful old market town with a single main street full of varied shops, coffee stops, a real butcher and much more. The river runs under the road and you can feed the trout you see swimming in the clear waters.

Verkehrsmittel
You'll need your own transport!
Although we can easily reach major roads, there is little public transport in rural Hampshire and no Uber!
So if you want to be out and about you'll need a car, or to book taxis in advance.
If you want to get to London the cheapest and quickest way is to park at Basingstoke: it's just 20 minutes' drive and there are lots of trains taking less than an hour to Waterloo. Closer stations such as Andover are good too.
