Tipps für Reisende
Verkehrsmittel
Public transport is mostly adequate when getting to the places of interest inside the city limits.
Get your green card of travel card so you don't need to buy single tickets from the driver at twice the price.
Plan your route ahead. Bus stops may be quite a bit away from the destination they are commonly "attached" to. Also, the bus stop names are occasionally badly chosen.
Some places are pretty hard to get to though. As said above the some bus stops are only kind of there as the actual location is quite a bit away.

Weather is moody, you never know whether it will be raining in the afternoon or if there will be snow in the morning.
If it's not summer bring strong water-resistant footwear. When it rains there are always puddles on the streets and you only know how deep they are when step into them. In winter beware snow and ice as most of the time the removal service is inadequate.
