Public Transportation
We are on the F line of the MTA, equidistant from the “7th Ave” and “15th St Prospect Park” stops. When you go into Manhattan you will ride “uptown / Manhattan” and to come home, ride “downtown / Brooklyn”.
A MetroCard may be purchased at any station and works on subway and bus. You may share a card if you do Single Ride ($2.75 per ride) but will require your own cards if you opt for Unlimited Rides ($32 per week). You only swipe when entering the station.
Taxis are more readily available in Manhattan, Uber is everywhere. Public transportation is almost always faster than cars but sometimes one is just too tired at the end of a long night!

Strollers on public transportation
Subway:
Strollers may be taken on the subway and do not need to be folded. Be aware that not many NYC subway stops have elevators which means you will need to carry the stroller up the stairs.
Bus:
Strollers must be folded before entering the bus and must remain folded for the duration of the trip.
