Want to take in all the weirdness, funk, and style of Asheville? Take a stroll and stop into the shops and restaurants of Lexington Ave. Actually, some great restaurants here: Mela (Indian), Bouchon (French), Heiwa (Japanese-inspired) are all very good. Rosetta's Kitchen is a order-at-counter spot that is vegan/veggie friendly and easy on the purse. Great vintage shops along this stretch.

One of Asheville's oldest craft breweries, and they have some of my favorite local beers. Try the St. Teresa Pale Ale, Gaelic Ale, or Oatmeal Porter. Check out the rooftop tasting room. They also have great live music some nights.
