Live Music
I generally don’t recommend the typical tourist stuff to our guests, but a trip to Music City must include a tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium. The Ryman is known as the Mother Church of Country Music, and now hosts concerts by artists in virtually every genre. Originally a church, the hall was flawlessly restored to its original glory in the 80s. They have a terrific back stage tour that should not be missed. Open every day.

The Listening Room started in 2006 with a simple idea: There’s nothing like hearing a great song performed live. Not as background music, not as something you shout to hear yourself over, but as the main attraction. With Music City’s best-sounding venue as the foundation, founder Chris Blair set out to pair it with a food and drink menu centered around the freshest local ingredients.
The result? A one-of-a-kind venue with uniquely Nashville flavor. Visit us in the vibrant SoBro neighborhood and see for yourself!!

A personal favorite of mine. If you’ve seen those old, classic screen print concert posters , you’ve seen the work of Jim Sheridan and Hatch Show Prints. Hatch has been a Nashville original for decades, and was moved to the first floor of the Country Music Hall of Fame when it opened a few years ago.
