Food Scene
The food is just great all the way around! It can be pretty busy on weekends. Has vegetarian and gluten-free options. The blue corn turkey enchiladas are a favorite.

Excellent farm-to-table local restaurant. Good wine! Patio is great in warm weather. Happy hour. Small place with limited seating, so reservations are a good idea, but not always necessary.

Parks & Nature
A working alpaca farm. The owner is super nice and lets you pet the alpacas and will show you around the place. It's really close to Casa de las Estrellas. The kids (and a lot of adults!) love it. It's free, so it would be nice if you bought a little souvenir or something, but it's not required. Only open on certain days, so look for the signs on 285 as you go south back to the casa. No affiliation and I don't even know the owner. She's just really nice.

Shopping
Location of the closest grocery store, John Brooks. For a small store, it has an impressive amount of high-end and specialty products. Vegan items. Alcohol. Organics. But also has regular stuff, too.
The Agora also has a pizza place, a pack and ship store, and a pet food store.
