summer events
Try to follow local news, or even ads on social media during your stay if you are here in the summer. A lot of happenings in both Farsund and Vanse: this place is very much alive during summer. The american festival last weekend in June every year in Vanse. In Farsund they have "Kaperdagene" (where they celebrate the pirate heritage) in July. Small events pop up regularly during the summer months, alot of it for kids. Weekly live concerts/comedy acts in Farsund as well during summer ("Bakgårdsfest") and Paradis live festival outside Farsund town centre. Shops are open on Sundays during summer.
