Drinks & Nightlife
It's become mine and my neighbours 'local'. It's got nice food, but I normally go for a drink. There's a small outdoor area, it's dog friendly and very neighbourly!

Parks & Nature
Queen's Park is great. It has it all: A quiet rose garden, a miniature zoo, a pitch and putt course, a tennis court, table tennis, a cafe (with ice cream!) and my favourite part is the small woodland area. Great place for a run or to fly a kite...

This park is great for a run. There's a running track, but I prefer running the periphery of the park where you can find a trim trail of workout stations dotted around the park borders including: sit-up benches, chin-up bars, and over-under hurdles. There's a woodland area, tennis courts an outdoor gym, rose gardens and areas for dogs only to run around. But you find many people with their dogs on the big grassy area in the middle. There's a cafe too!

This one is a little further than the local Co-Op Food, but is much larger and you can get there by a 10-15 minute walk along the lovely canal! A bit of sightseeing on your way to pick up some essentials?

A little local gem, Ida is a neighbourhood restaurant situated in a pretty, grade II listed cornershop, offering home-cooked freshly made Italian food six days a week to hungry locals and regulars. It's owned and run by a husband and wife team. And sometimes their children help out too!

This lively bistro is fairly new. Although I haven't been yet, it's super busy on weekends for brunch. Which tells you something! And, it's on the quaint little strip of Salusbury Road where you'll discover other places to go for coffee, a drink, a pizza, or to buy a book or pick up a gift (next door is Queen's Park Books and Wordly Wicked and Wise which is a gift shop).
