Was einpacken?
Bring warm socks
To keep warm and to walk more comfortably on our floors.
Was einpacken?
Bring fire starter logs
If you’re a beginner-intermediate when it comes to setting up wood fires, we recommend bringing fire starter logs.
Verkehrsmittel
Take Hwy 38- the Scenic Route
We recommend taking Highway 38 to avoid traffic, twists, and turns. It is slightly longer in mileage but usually takes just as long to get to our cabin as the “front way.” Pull over for faster traffic, they’ll flash their emergency lights to say thanks!

Chains usually recommended during winter
You may not be required to use chains if you have a 4-wheel drive but it is always recommended to keep some in your vehicle in case of severe weather in the winter. Cal Trans 8 has reliable Big Bear weather updates all season long.
