The Barnhouse’s Guide to Springville

Great variety of fresh veggies, homemade desserts, jams and cuts of meat. Downtown Springville.

1st Saturday of the month May - October at the Springville Rodeo Grounds. Free family-friendly movies on a giant projector. Bring chairs or blanks. Concessions available.

Wednesday nights during the summer free music events at River Ridge Ranch (about a mile up the road from the Barnhouse). Bring your own everything and listen to some local (and surrounding) talent.

Free family-friendly music events in downtown Springville at the gazebo in the park every Friday evening during the summer. Lots of food options within walking distance.

Third Sunday of each April, visit Scicon’s Wildflower Festival. No charge for admission. You will be able to hike some trails, see the wildflowers and stay for bbq!

Monthly event hosted by Andrew De Lange of Studio 190 in the Elster building. All drawing materials provided. Go, drink, draw, and make friends with the locals.

Yoga at Studio 190 in the Elster building. Saturdays at 10am for all levels and Tuesdays at 6pm. $15 per session. Bring your own mat, blanket, and blocks.

Poor Richard’s often hosts karaoke nights and live music of local talent. Ask and I’ll let you know if anything is scheduled during your stay.

Rodeo in April annually and Hot August Nights events

Camp Nelson hosts a Mountain Festival annually on the first weekend of August. Lots of vendors, food, and live music.

Annually held every 3rd Saturday in October - Come for the apple burritos, stay for the live music in the park. Tons of vendors, food choices, and handmade items.
