Sightseeing
I highly recommend a ring tram tour to better understand the city and soak up some great history and knowledge. You can hop on at Schwedenplatz (1st district). It's the yellow tram! Quick way to hit all the famous sites in one go!

14 RennwegHave a stroll through one of the most stunning parks, Stadt park! It's common to see people picnicking here, exercising or spending time with family. If you get thirsty along the way there are plenty of places to fill up your water bottle! The Viennese are very proud of their great tasting tap water (which comes straight from the alps)!

Hands down the BEST schnitzel in Austria! If you aren't a big eater, then order the kinder sized portion because a regular sized schnitzel is enough to feed two people! A side of Preiselbeere (cranberry sauce) is a must and of course their mouth water potato salad!

An absolute must on your list of things to do is visit Schweizerhaus. They are well known for their hearty food and beer. They have a nice outdoor area but reservations are a must in the summer months! If you come to Vienna, you must try a schnitzel but equally as important is a Schweizerhaus Stelze! It is a crispy knuckle of pork that can be shared with a partner.

Need some groceries? Wien Mitte has a great big Interspar to cover all your needs. They have good prices on all the famous Austrian chocolates too (perfect time to stock up on souvenirs). Also note that on Sunday's nearly ALL shops are closed! However there is a small Interspar-Pronto that is open (be prepared for lineups, but it does come in handy if you desperately need something).
