Right off of Highway 20 next to the Buffalo River. Local favorite for any season! Great menu, cold drinks and lots of TVs if you want to watch a game! They make awesome pizzas and have large tables for big groups or a bar top if you're stopping in solo. They also have a golf simulator!

Lakeside is a great little place where you can have a good meal, sit on the deck and enjoy the view, rent water sports equipment or rent recreational vehicles for any season.
There's a dining area with a separate bar with a shuffle board and a laid back atmosphere where locals and vacationers all feel welcome. They usually has a live band on the weekends.

Sightseeing
America's first National Park is a must see if you're visiting Island Park. You could spend a few days seeing everything or you could do a day trip through the park. Island Park is about 30 minutes (give or take depending on which cabin you're at) to the West entrance.

Beautiful scenery along this 27 mile route. There's great nature trails and plenty to see, but the the highlight for me is the Upper and Lower Falls.

Harriman is a great place for an outdoorsman! Perfect trails for snow shoeing, cross country skiing or snow biking during the winter. Stop at a yurt and warm up with some hot cocoa. Easy hiking trails during the summer and gorgeous scenery.

Henrys Lake is a great nearby lake with a high catch rate when the conditions are right. Due to the nutrient-rich waters, fish growth is fast and large trout are the norm, not the exception!

The Buffalo is calm. Water is slow and easy. The fish are not huge but they are hungry and plentiful. There is a spirit on the Buffalo that can't be found anywhere else. It's very unique.
