Our 'backyard' - perfect spot for all ages to get outdoors for a walk, run, scoot, game of soccer, coffee or a visit to the playground. Walk around to Yarranabee Point for a decent, easy (albeit further away from the action) option for New Year's Eve fireworks spot which doesn't require 8hrs camping out for a spot. Great option with kids.

Sydney's Moonlight Cinema runs through the Summer season. This is the local's favourite outdoor cinema - the hire a "beanbed" and spread yourself out version of outdoor cinema. Check out the programme at moonlight.com.au and book online. Go for the Goldgrass Package for rebooked beanbags in the best viewing areas, or get there early to snag a good spot!
(If you're more a 'sit on a chair' outdoor cinema type, check out westpacopenair.com.au, located at Mrs Macquarie's Chair, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a backdrop).
