This is a great bar but very small - the real draw is that you can take your beer outside to sit on the wall by the weir or on the grass on Sheep's Green opposite. If you're lucky you will get to say hello to the cows that makethsi common land their home!

Walk the historic meadows where the Blomsbury set once hung out, take a dip in the Cam, bring beers and lounge on the river bank. It's a classic place for locals and tourists alike. You may also want to visit the quaint village of Grantchester and the Orchard Tearooms.
