Hike along a path that leads you to an awesome old tunnel, or choose the trail where you can cross a cool suspense bridge. This is a great place to bring dogs, just remember to keep them on a leash.
*Pro tip* It is a 4 mile loop from the front parking area, but you can drive very far into the preserve and park very close to the tunnel/bridge trails.

A quick 1.4 mile loop, but all uphill hike to a restored fire tower that overlooks the Hudson Valley. You can climb to the top of the fire tower and look out over multiple states, and if you bring binoculars you might be able to see the NYC Skyline.

This one is a bit far from the cabin (1 hour, 15 mins) but TOTALLY worth the drive. The waterfall is incredible! In the summer you swim in the pools from the waterfall. I would recommend hiking on the Mass. side.
