American restaurant, great atmosphere, seasonal menu and has never disappointed! one of my favorite places to go for a brunch. They have solid drinks and if you ask nicely, they might make you a special, off-menu one :)

I would be embarrassed to know how many times in the past five years I have ordered their Capricciosa -- never gets old!
Pizzas here are only one size and if you may be able to eat one entirely by yourself if you're hungry.

Probably the best pizza place in the neighborhood (no offense, Dellarocco's and Juliana's fans). I have never been there but to pick up, and I'm pretty sure that the place is relatively small. Anyway, if you have only one chance to try the local pizzas, go with Luzzo's. I love their Capricciosa, and heard that other traditional options are just as good!

Authentic Italian food, homemade pasta... what could possibly go wrong? You forgot your cash at home and will now have to pay ATM fees. Don't tell me I didn't warn you :)

Are you looking to buy some groceries during your stay? There's a gigantic Trader Joe's less than 15min away. I love their variety of cheese, bread, beer and granola. If you want to get nice fruits and vegetables, aim to be there by mid-afternoon.

Are you surprising someone with a pie? Or planning to bring dessert to a party? Perhaps you are planning to cook and want the best ingredients? This is a good place for all of that: there's a great selection of fruits, vegetables, cheese and meat. I particularly come here for their salmon, which is always fresh and tasty.
The name of the place is not very visible, but you might recognize it by the fruit stands outside.

They are not the most affordable, but are extremely reliable, professional, and the fastest ones in the area to my knowledge. They also do alterations and I have always had a great experience with them.

Take a look at this gorgeous building, and ask yourself: was it always a multifamily building? If not, what else could it have been?
Once you're done guessing, check out its colorful history by searching for "Herman Behr Mansion" on Wikipedia. :)
