This beautiful lake and dam is a short drive away (aprrox 20-30 minutes) through beautiful scenery. There are lots of things to do there. It is an RSPB reserve. You can rent a bike from the Artisans cafe and cycle all the way around (11 miles) or just walk through one of the many marked forestry trails.

This beautiful little church of St Mellangel is a 2 mile walk up the lanes from the middle of Llangnynog. It was restored back in the 1990's and has some fascinating history about the village up stairs in the tower.

This is the highest vertical drop waterfall in Wales, and you can walk to it from our cabin! The tea shop does a good choice of food when you get there!

Bala is just 13 miles across the Berwyn Mountains. There are plenty of things to do there if you like water! You can sail, windsurf and canoe on the lake, or just sit and have a picnic. Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding areas as well.

If you are adventurous and don't mind getting wet, the white water centre is just outside Bala!
