A smarter gastro pub with good food and great views from the large back garden that overlooks the fields.
It's quite nice to walk over the fields to The Bell in Alderminster, takes about 20-30 mins. To get to the footpath, turn left out of the house and keep walking out of Crimscote (not up the hill) until you see the footpath gate on your right. Follow that path all the way until you cross the river into Alderminster. Follow the main road until you see the white building on your left.

Stratford is beautiful to walk around and worth a visit, but can get busy at weekends. If you're into Shakespeare there's lots to see and do.
