You can't stay in the Mission and not go to La Taqueria! It's world famous tacos, order their carne asada but they also have vegetarian options. Keep in mind, there will usually be a line b/c it gets super busy, but worth the wait. Cash only, and closed Mon and Tue's.

Looking for "higher end" Mexican? This is a departure from the hole in the wall Mexican spots in the Mission, but it's soooo good. They have great cocktails. Usually a wait, but worth it and chill by the bar in the meantime, they make great drinks!
