Hip Edgewater (of Sloan's Lake) tavern.
I've been here a couple times and it has a good atmosphere, with attentive service and good food. The weekend brunch menu looks great but I haven't had the opportunity.

Looks like it was designed by Tim Burton. Fun place. Mixed crowd because of being on the edge of a 3-college campus in the heart of a high tech city.
