Nature in the city
Go to the beach. You can walk, or you can ride anything without a motor. Clothing is optional on all Danish beaches.
-
The moat around København can still be followed many places. You may begin at the citadel, strictly formed as a 5-edged rampart construction. Then past Østerport station to Østre Anlæg. Get out in front of Statens Museum for Kunst, then along the 'voldgade' towards Nørreport, where you can enter Botanisk Have (other entrance currently (2019) closed). Finally past Torvehallerne and into Ørstedsparken.
Tivoli also contains part of the moat, but it's not free to enter, and it's mentioned elsewhere in this guide.
