The Seawall is a great walk either on the beach or on the wall. It is good for walkers, joggers or runners or you can rent bikes at several places on the Seawall.
My favorite beach is Babe's Beach at Seawall and 69th St.

Getting Around
I recommend riding the ferry while you are in Galveston. Walk on and ride it across and back. Watch the dophins play in the Bay. If you visit in the summer ride it early in the morning or at sundown to see the dolphins.
