The Blaxland Train Station is ten minutes on foot from the house. From there you can travel to other villages in the mountains: Springwood, Faulconbridge, Leura and Katoomba.
The local shops in Blaxland are on the other side of the highway and reachable by a pedestrian overpass from the train station.
