Drinks & Nightlife
Our legion is a great place to hook up with the locals. Join the locals for a pool tournament every Thursday night. Also known as Thirsty Thursday's to a few local folks. Get in on a game of Cribbage every Friday night. Saturday is a wonderful spot to have a cold one and it's the locals pick for "the social day" at our legion. On Sunday you may want to go "Chase The Ace" for your chance to win the 'Pot'. The kitchen is open as well on
Sunday. You can even order a full loaf of bread and have it served from the oven right to your table and I'm pretty sure it will come with butter and molasses. Mmmm.

Sightseeing
Mainly because it is absolutely beautiful and you can get to it right from your deck. Just head up along the dirt road to your right and follow the trail. you will eventually come to another gravel road.. you'll get the picture. Along the way you'll also come across The Fundy View Trail. Follow that if you like to the top of the hill and you'll come to a look off. Keep going to another look off over the village then down over to the Islands Museum.

Another beautiful area of Long Island. Rocks are easily passable for walkers. Please stay off the wet rocks though! On a windy day it is the place to watch the waves. It's also the place locals will go to spark a campfire during the day or night and roast hotdogs. There's always plenty of driftwood for burning. Keep in mind: In an extremely dry time there will be a NO BURN ALERT pretty much everywhere.

Quiet place for a picnic with a parking area. The park is well mowed at all times. Outdoor toilets are on the premises. There's also a trail on the back of the park. It's not heavily used and I do not know why because it is a great hike to the Bay of Fundy. I love it! When you reach the end you'll find a look off built right on the rocks! You'll also find... hardly anyone, probably no one! Enjoy :)

Keep in mind this is actually in Tiverton approx 10 miles towards the mainland (not as it appears on the map). They dip ice cream, offer sandwiches and snacks, groceries, hardware, fishing licenses etc. It also serves as the only gas station on the island.
