Duke's is right in the center of the Waikiki beach and is right on the beach. It is a bar and restaurant with live local music and on Sunday the favorite local band is playing for you. Everyone is dancing outside on the patio and it's a great time.

Rent a car for the day and drive all the way around the island. There are so many place to stop and take in the beautiful views or taste the food etc..... Captain Bob's picnic sail is in Kaneohe. Sounds kind of funny but a great snorkel and you get lunch in the middle of the ocean on a sand bar. It's lot's of fun and the fish are plentiful around the huge reef as it crops up from the bottom of the ocean. There's nothing like it.

During the winter months this is the area you want to go if you want to see the big waves or the Bonsai Pipeline. Quit a sight to see, but don't go in the water leave that for the experts. During the summer it much more calm.

Take a hike to the top of Diamond head. At the top you have to walk up 99 stairs but it's worth every step as you look out over the ocean and Waikiki.

This paved trail leads up to the Makapu"u light house. When you reach the top the view is breathtaking. Along the way if you're feeling adventurous you can climb down to the tide pools, but be aware it is a difficult hike up and down.
