If you love EDM and are not nervous around really interesting people... this is THE spot to dance your tail feathers off all night. Sometimes they charge cover (on busy eventful weekends) but most of the time they don't.
For a more formal setting, Whiskey River or the Rec Room which is less than a block away from each other.

This is a HUGE park with SO much you can do. My favorite part? The dog park. They have a separate area for large and small dogs with a few fun things to play with in there.
Other than that, you can use the soccer fields, running track (1/4 mile per lap), kids playground, picnic area, bmx biking tracks, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts. Plenty of parking and a great place to have a picnic if you want to have an open space to do so. I do my hula hoop practicing here sometimes. :)

It's a manmade lake but it still is revitalizing. You can rent your stand up paddleboards from Shaboomee and head out for a wonderful day out here. They have tent camping areas as well as spots for RVs. There are a few banks you can park and play/bbq around the lake. Have a boat? You can bring it out! Just be sure to check with permits and regulations at http://www.basaltchamber.org/recreation/ruedi-reservoir/.

Getting Around
The RFTA system in the valley is pretty good. It's affordable. The bus stops between Snowmass, Intercept Lot, and Aspen is free. But beyond that, you'll have to pay up. There is a bus stop a mile from the camp but I can't choose it on the drop down list. It's off of Watson Divide and Highway 82. Another one with a park and ride is at Snowmass Creek Rd and Highway 82.
