This a local brewery-owned (Joule's) establishment which always has an array of great real ales. The pub has a lounge/foody area and a separate bar. There's also a nice outdoor sitting area too. The gaffer (Dave) and his staff are a very friendly bunch. They have regular music nights here run by a local guy called James.

Museums

RAF Cosord has a wealth of historic military aircraft and vintage vehicles. Lots of the artefacts on show allow hands-on inspection, so it's a very interactive visitor centre. Loads to stimulate old/young and inbetweens. It is free to get in (apart from parking) and nearly everything is under cover. A great idea for a rainy day visit!

The small (return) ticket price is fully justified when you look back up to High Town when you arrive riverside! Great views of the Severn and a not-to-be-missed trip on a historic mode of transport

A truly historic and spectacular site and sight! Great photo opportunities to be had gazing down from the centre of the recently re-painted and refurbished old bridge. The town itself is small, with a sprinkling of arty, craft and giftware shops to keep one busy for a couple of hours. There are many historic and interesting museums dotted around Ironbridge, the most notable being Blist Hill, a re-creation of a Victorian town.
