The best real Neapolitan style pizza of your life. At least outside of Italy. One of the owners is a local, and the other married her and moved here. Seriously I can't recommend the pizza enough. I eat here three times a week. Cocktails are great too.

This is where to go for Sunday brunch if you are looking for bottomless mimosas and football. Not classy, but great food and fun atmosphere. Also a lot cheaper than the downtown locations. Parking is weird. It's in the back but the driveway is kind of hidden.

Great spot for Sunday brunch. We normally go at noon right after mass. Right across the plaza from the Mission though, so its very convenient. Good food, but portions are on the smaller side. More of an upscale brunch atmosphere.

Gorgeous trail that leads from SLO to Avila. Great for running, biking, roller blading, etc. There is also a new place called "the secret garden" where they serve beer and wine out of a cute little airstream trailer. Highly recommend!

This is a great intermediate hike. A little steep at beginning and end, but very manageable. Incredible views at the top, especially if you climb the boulders. People do fall off though, so do it with caution.

Really cool little park. Surrounded by a year round creek. Horse shoe pits, swing sets, volleyball court, and huge BBQ pits you can rent. Out of the way, and not many people go which makes it even nicer.

Drinks & Nightlife
The original San Luis Obispo dive bar. Recently renovated to remove years of pee and sadness from the walls, its now popular among young professionals, Cal poly grads from the 80s and 90s reliving their college days, wedding parties, and fraternity types. Must visit for 21st birthdays (watch out for the Bull Sweat), and for evenings when you feel like drinking massive quantities of $2.50 Bud Lites.

Great bar for the more young professional scene. Fewer college students and more late 20's early 30's with job types. Food is also pretty good.

This is where you go to find people drinking in the middle of the day. A location for locals and professional bar stool riders. You can get a little flavor of Old San Luis Obispo here. Complete with Shamrock's on the wall with the last names of people who drank at the bar every day consecutively for at least a year.

Another young professionals bar. Usually the college kids don't venture off of Higuera, so this is a great spot. No loud dance music. Tables and another bar in the back. Great food as well. I recommend the Beef Mac n' Cheese.
